"The barn"

Originally constructed in 1927 by Jens Bergen, "The Barn" was damaged by high winds on January 14, 2021.


It was successfully restored by the Emmels in 2021 and 2022.

Eight Roots is the result of generations of family uplifting one another.

Our name is a tribute to the eight Emmel children, whose legacy reflects the rich history of Saskatchewan farming that has been passed down through generations.
